Today, with the advancement of technology, there have been great developments
in many areas. One of the areas where these developments are experienced is
unmanned aerial vehicles. In the last 10 years, revolutionary innovations have been
made in this field. These innovations affected many sectors such as military,
commerce and transportation. For example in our country, the success of İHAs and
SİHAs attracted great attention around the world. These aircraft are trying to meet
people's needs, but there is still a lot to be done in this industry. Forest fires that
broke out in our country recently caused great destruction. There is not enough
equipment in our country yet to control the fires in a short time. Early detection of
fire can prevent many losses of life and property. Unmanned aerial vehicles are one
of the most suitable solution methods for early detection. For such reasons, we will
do a project called 'The Future is in the Sky'. With the 'The Future is in the Sky'
project, kilometers of area can be scanned in a short time and the starting points of
the fire can be determined, so the fire can be brought under control with less cost and
risk. This project will be developed as a prototype. More professional jobs may
emerge by using the technologies we will use in our aircraft with more advanced
autonomous vehicles such as İHA and SİHA in the future. We will approach this
project in a more minimalist way.
The project will be used for early fire detection. It will be an RC airplane project
made entirely by the team members. Unlike other RC airplanes, the plane will have
wheels and will have front wheel mobility.
RC Planes generally uses standart comminication controllers but we design our own controller and write it code

‘DIY RC Plane - SU 27’ project involves building a simple remote control and
airplane using arduino.
The project is on the YouTube channel "Electronic Clinic" (Electronic, C.,
2020). The project has reached a total of seventeen thousand views. Arduino and
NRF24L01 Pa + LNA module were used in the development of the remote
control. A potentiometer is used for wing movements and speed adjustment.
Arduino nano and NRF24L01 Pa + LNA module were used in the receiver of the

aircraft. The model of the aircraft was cut and assembled according to the
measurements in the examples on the internet. Servo motors are used for wing
movements.
